Liontrust UK Equity:

Liontrust has announced it plans to merge its UK Mid Cap and UK Opportunities, which were both managed by Mark Martin, into their UK Growth fund; which is managed by Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh.  Martin, who joined Liontrust following their acquisition of Neptune, will leave the firm.

Schroders Asian Equity:

Matthew Dobbs, who manages a number of Asian equity and global smaller companies funds at Schroders, will retire in 2021, after nearly four decades at the group.  Upon his departure, Richard Sennitt will take responsibility for Dobbs’ Asian mandates, whilst Luke Biermann, Bob Kaynor and Alex Deane will take charge of his global and smaller companies mandates.

Matthews Asia:

Tiffany Hsiao, YuanYuan Ji and Beini Zhou are leaving Matthews Asia at the end of August 2020.  Hsiao and Ji co-managed the group’s China Small Companies fund and will be succeeded by Winnie Chwang and Andrew Mattock.  Hsiao also managed the Small Companies fund, alongside Zhou, and they will be replaced by Vivek Tanneeru.  Zhou was also a co-manager on the Matthews Asia Emerging Markets Equity fund, with John Paul Lech the lead manager and he will continue to run it following Zhou’s departure.
