Following on from AssetCo’s acquisition of River & Mercantile (R&M), Dan Hanbury, manager of their UK Equity Smaller Companies and UK Equity Income strategies, is set to leave the business.

Hanbury, a partner of the firm, joined R&M from Investec 16 years ago.  Current UK Micro-Cap Investment Trust manager, George Ensor, will take over from Hanbury on both funds, having worked at R&M for eight years, a number of which was spent working alongside Hanbury on the Smaller Companies fund.
