Brandeaux Funds Update - April 2010 (part 2) Ground Rent funds
All three Brandeaux Ground Rent funds, the Ground Rent Income Limited, Ground Rent Portfolio Limited and Ground Rent Portfolio Plus Limited, are scheduled to re-open on 30th April 2010. These funds are the last in the Brandeaux fund range that were suspended, and we are pleased that Brandeaux have managed the portfolios well during this difficult trading period.
During the period of suspension, the Ground Rent Limited fund has delivered positive returns of 1.71% (Source: Brandeaux Limited, Bid to Bid, GBP£, 12th December 2008 to 23rd April 2010) despite the unprecedented turmoil that has plagued this asset class and financial world alike, and has done a good job at preserving capital for all investors.
Brandeaux believe the outlook for this asset class is positive and the fund should continue to perform well over 2010 as liquidity continues to improve, and we echo these sentiments.
