Manager Changes - October 2008 Standard Life UK Equity Team:
Standard Life have appointed Andrew Millington as Investment Director of their UK Equity team. Millington joins from Baillie Gifford, where he was the manager of the Baillie Gifford Income fund.
Rothschild Resources Team:
Rothschild Asset Management have recruited Emmanuel Painchault to head up their Raw Materials team. Painchault joins from Société Générale Asset Management (SGAM) where he was a Global Resources manager. Rothschild have appointed Raphaël Dubois, also from SGAM where he worked with Painchault, to the Raw Materials team as a natural resources portfolio manager.
Martin Currie European:
Dino Fuschillo, manager of the Martin Currie European and Martin Currie GF Pan-European Alpha funds is leaving his role with immediate effect. Martin Stewart will assume all of Fuschillo’s responsibilities including the management of the two European funds.
T Rowe MENA:
Christopher Anderson has been appointed CEO of T Rowe Price International and will start his new role early next year. Anderson is the current manager of the T Rowe Middle East and Africa fund but management of this fund will pass to Joseph Rohm at the end of March 2009.
