Manager Changes - November 2007 F&C Europe
Davina Curling has quit F&C after returning from a year’s maternity leave. Curling managed the F&C European Dynamic and the F&C European funds. Peter Jarvis, who managed the range in her absence, will succeed her.
F&C Multi-Manager
Dean Cheeseman has been named Director on F&C’s fund of funds division, replacing Tom Caddick in December. Cheeseman will be a lead manager alongside Richard Philbin on all F&C’s multi-manager portfolios. Cheeseman joins from Forsyth Partners where he was head of developed markets and responsible for mutual fund research across all geographies and sectors, with a specialist focus on UK, European and North American equities. Additionally, Cheeseman has been lead manager on the Forsyth Greater Europe fund, co-manager of the Forsyth Private Equity and Forsyth North American funds. Prior to joining Forsyth Partners in 2001, he spent three years at Morgan Stanley Quilter as a divisional associate director with responsibility for the third-party fund buy-list and the firm's unfettered fund of funds portfolio management service.
